See DEMIRS licensing and registration to learn more about the following licences.
- Asbestos removal licence to remove specific types and amounts of asbestos
- Demolition licence to carry out demolition work
- High risk work licence, such as scaffolding and rigging, operating cranes and forklifts, and using boilers and other pressure equipment
- Plant design and registration, such as pressure vessels, boilers, cranes and escalators including alteration
- High risk work licence accredited assessor to conduct high risk work licence assessments on behalf of registered training organisations approved by WorkSafe

Report a notifiable injury or disease
Call 1800 678 198 to report a workplace related death, serious injury or illness, or immediately life-threatening dangerous incident.
These must be reported to WorkSafe immediately after becoming aware of the incident. Urgent medical assistance where required should be sought prior to contacting WorkSafe. After phoning through the report, you will also need to notify online.

To report a workplace related death, serious life-threatening incident or disease, please contact WorkSafe immediately by phone on 1800 678 198.
To report all other non-life threatening hazards, you can contact WorkSafe by phone on 1300 307 877, or email wscallcentre@demirs.wa.gov.au

Notify WorkSafe that an improvement notice has been complied with
You can now notify the Commissioner that you have complied with an improvement notice.

Register the design or an item of plant?
To register an item of plant you will need to complete and submit a registration or re-registration of plant form and attach the information specified in Regulation 4.15 of the Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations 2022 to WorkSafe along with the appropriate fee.
