The Chief Dangerous Goods Officer accredits approved persons to provide certificates in accordance with:
- regulations 26(3) and 29(4B) of the Dangerous Goods Safety (Storage and Handling of Non-explosives) Regulations 2007
- regulation 157(8) of the Dangerous Goods Safety (Explosives) Regulations 2007
and - regulation 30(5) of the Dangerous Goods Safety (Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate) Regulations 2007.
In providing a certificate, the approved person confirms the accredited consultant has read the application and is satisfied that it meets the requirements of the relevant regulations to which the accreditation relates.
