Notice to import of explosives or security sensitive ammonium nitrate into Western Australia: Form

Requirements for this notice

This notice is to be used for imports of explosives or security sensitive ammonium nitrate.

• Separate notices are to be provided if:
  • explosives and security sensitive ammonium nitrate are included in the same shipment; or
  • a shipment contains explosives or security sensitive ammonium nitrate that are to be delivered to different consignees upon arrival in WA.
• The person importing the explosives or security sensitive ammonium nitrate must hold a current explosives or security sensitive ammonium nitrate import/export licence.
• This notice must be lodged by the licence holder with the Department at least 7 days prior to the date of expected arrival.
• The licence holder must provide with this notice a material safety data sheet for all of the explosives or security sensitive ammonium nitrate detailed in the notice.
• A certificate of analysis (signed by the licence holder) must be provided if required by the Chief Officer.
