Draft Code of practice: Workers’ accommodation
The Work Health and Safety Commission invites public submissions on the draft Code of practice: Workers’ accommodation.
The Code assists a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) to meet their duties under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WHS Act) in relation to accommodation the PCBU may arrange for workers. The Code also expands on how PCBUs can reduce the risk of harm to workers through best practice options such as what to include in the fit-out of accommodation, means of communication to loved ones and having recreational facilities.
Submissions close at 5.00 pm on Friday 26 June 2026.
