What is the format of the mining practice exam?
The three-hour mining practice examinations for underground supervisor, restricted quarry manager (explosives) and restricted quarry manager (non-explosives) consist of multiple-choice questions that assess the ability to apply knowledge of the work health and safety legislation.
The number of questions for each exam is as below:
- Restricted quarry manager (non-explosives): 110 questions
- Restricted quarry manager (explosives): 120 questions
- Underground supervisor: 120 questions
When will you receive the result of your exam?
You will be notified of your result via email within 28 days of the examination date.
What is the pass mark for the mining practice exam?
You need to score 80% or above to pass the mining practice exam.
You can re-sit up to two times per calendar year.
